On 26th November 2016, I had the pleasure of photographing Mr and Mrs Lucas on their wedding day. The wedding service took place at Leicester Registry Office before moving onto the Belfry in Birmingham for the Reception. The wedding was small and private, for Joe and Vicki's closest family and friends.
With a lovely baby pink, glittery theme for the bridesmaids, flowers and reception venue, Vicki really did look like a Princess of a Bride. The wedding planner (Party Pixies) did an amazing job of using the baby pink colour and theming the decorations around it; creating a really pretty and elegant theme for their special day.
Joe and Vicki seemed relaxed and laid back throughout the day - entirely comfortable and content in each others' company. This was so lovely to see, and made it so easy to get truly lovely photographs of them as a couple, and ones with their families and friends.
My personal highlight of the day was undoubtedly climbing into a golf cart with Mr and Mrs Lucas to get some photographs of them on a bridge down on the green of the golf course! I would be lying if I said that the light wasn't a challenge... with it getting at dark by 4pm we had to be speedy to catch the last light of the day.
Both Joe and Vicki's families were so incredibly welcoming throughout the day, and it was an honour to be a part of their lovely little wedding.
